BSM 256 Object Oriented Systems Design

This course teaches students object-oriented analysis and design techniques using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) in the context of Rational Unified Process. This course provides an overview of object technology and object-oriented principles such as encapsulation, abstraction, inheritance and polymorphism. Students will study tradition software development life cycle models, as well as the ways in which the Rational Unified Process expands on these ideas to create robust environment for software development.
